My Testimony - Part 2 The Deaf & Dumb Spirit

And he asked his father, How long ago is it since this came to him? And he said, Of a child. And often times it has cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.  Mark 9:21-23

I was plagued with the Deaf and Dumb Spirit from the age of 4 until 14 years old, when in a fit of fearful rage, I raised my fist to God and said, "Stop bleeping doing this to me!" In that instant I felt a tingle surge down my spine as I felt the seizure leave my body.

So as I was saying, I was 22 when I first learned from my mum, that she also always believed that my particular seizures were of a spiritual nature. Going back to my very first seizure, my mum recalled the details as she re-enacted them to me.  She proceeded to tell me how I had come through the hallway door into the living room with all 4 limbs twisted, my face was a purply-blue and I was foaming at the mouth. With eyes full of terror, I managed to force out the word, "Muuuummm!" Mum came running to catch me as I collapsed and fell unconscious, while my Dad ran out the door to our local Marae to bring some Elders back to pray for me. While Mum waited patiently for Dad to return with some Elders, she decided to sing a song to calm her nerves.

And when Jesus was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.  Mark 9:28-29

 So I was healed of physical seizures from the age of 14. But soon after my 18th birthday a new struggle ensued which involved nightmares and night terrors that would make me think that I was awake having a seizure when I was really asleep. These nightmares felt exactly like the physical seizures except in the dream I would usually have no one to run to, just like my last physical seizure. And I would often try to fight to wake myself up which I was able to do on many occasions. The worst ones were when I would think I had woken up only to discover that the dream had just restarted from the beginning. This could sometimes occur 4 to 5 times before actually waking up. These dreams were not only terrifying but they were tiring as well. 

My Testimony - Part 5 A love For Word Puzzles

My love for word puzzles developed in my teens, when I'd catch my mum trying out the little puzzles in our local newspaper. We'd often tag team on a colossus or cryptic crossword. Before long I was asking mum to buy me large crossword puzzle books that I happily got into when I was feeling bored, which was most days that I wasn't playing sport. Eventually my high school would introduce me to Logical Puzzles and to my delight I'd find a book ready and waiting for me at the store.

My Testimony - Part 6 Prayer To Jesus My Saviour

I feel like I'd be doing a huge disservice if I didn't share the in-depth study I've done on this topic over several years - Prayer To Jesus My Saviour. I don't expect the reader to agree with me at all. All I can hope for, is that the reader can respect that this is what I've personally dug out of the Scriptures myself, and while most people might disesteem it, I certainly don't. And if there is anyone out there that can personally identify with my story and this in-depth study I want you to know that there is hope and it's much easier to deal with than you might expect. Simple and heartfelt prayer to Jesus is all that's necessary, but you might find you need to do it often before you're set free. By praying often, I don't mean monotonous prayer. I mean a heartfelt ongoing discussion with your Saviour Jesus Christ who says He's the Saviour of the whole world. He doesn't force us to believe Him, but He invites us to.

As I've mentioned in previous sections of My Testimony, the people who were oppressed with unclean, familiar, evil and demonic spirits were all healed by Jesus and/or His Disciples:

And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. Luke 8:2-3

My Testimony - Part 8 The Book Of Job Explained

As I said in Part 2 of my testimony, I commented on how I understood the book of Job before I had read it because I was made to live it to a certain degree first.  I thought I should elaborate on this a little more and explain the book of Job at the same time.

The Book Of Job starts out with God conversing with Satan about His "faithful" servant Job:

And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews (turns away from) evil?  Job 1:8

My Testimony - Part 9 A Path To Forgiveness

When I started writing my testimony, I never imagined it would turn into a series within itself.  Out of the blue it seems, memories come flooding back to me, and I feel the Lord encouraging me to write about it, so I do.

This story begins a few years ago, when my youngest son was a few months old.  Without a shadow of a doubt, I was given a revelation by the Lord Jesus Himself, when a photograph of a local church flashed in my mind, and a Bible verse accompanied it which says:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

My Testimony - Part 10 End Time Prophecy

I was brought up with the mainstream view of End Time events, which involved a 7 year tribulation at the end, known as Daniel's 70th week.  That was until I was introduced to a different interpretation of Bible Prophecy through the many free books and studies at godskingdom.org, which showed me convincingly, that we are coming to the end of more than 2000 years in captivity to the Empire that the Bible refers to as Mystery Babylon. (Revelations 17:18)

While this is not a subject I intend to venture into at any length, being that it can stir up a lot of anxiety both in myself and in the reader, I felt my testimony would be incomplete if I didn't at least touch on this subject briefly.
